Welcome to the Official Website for the
40th Anniversary Conclave!

On Behalf of the Grand Council, the Midwest Region, and the 2003 Conclave committee, I'd like to thank you for visiting the website for the 2003 Conclave! Iota Phi Theta will be celebrating our 40th Anniversary in 2003 and we are extremely pleased to do so in the vibrant city of Chicago!

The theme for the 2003 Conclave is, "Honoring our Founders as we Continue to Build a Tradition" and I can't think of a more fitting tribute to the hard work, dedication, and love that have brought Iota to this point.

We're going to be cruising aboard the

Please spend some time on this site to learn more about what we have in store for you. Chicago is a dynamic city and as we've visited here over the years, Brothers have always enjoyed their time here. The Conclave committee has assembled an outstanding set of events and I am confident that you will thoroughly enjoy yourself!

Please let me remind all Brothers of Iota that this conclave will be a crucial one. As we reflect on our 40th anniversary, let us also consider the fact that we are taking a step into a brand new day as an organization. Much as a man makes an important transition upon reaching 40 years of age, so must Iota. While we have accomplished much since 1963, we must prepare ourselves for the challenges and changes that the future will bring. I am confident that we will remain mindful of our motto, "Building a Tradition, Not Resting Upon one!"

In closing, I'd like to extend my sincere wish to see each and every one of you in Chicago next summer - I promise that you won't want to miss it!

Yours in Brotherhood,
Steven T. Birdine
