You Are in For a Treat!

Chicago is one of the greatest cities in the world and the local Brothers of Iota are pleased and proud to be able to present it to you. Chicago is by many names -- "The City of Big Shoulders", "The Windy City", "The City That Works" just to name a few. During the week of July 29-August 2, 2003, we will simply call it, "The Home of the Brown & Gold!" The host chapters have worked to prepare a week that will allow you to enjoy all that the city has to offer while providing a comfortable and exciting backdrop for conducting Iota Business. Our Hotel, The InterContinental Chicago, is a 5-Star property which is located squarely in the thick of things on North Michigan Avenue. From here, you will be a short walk from some of the best restaurants, shopping, and cultural attractions in the world. From Nordstrom across the street, to the House of Blues a few blocks away, to Navy Pier just around the corner, Iota will be where the action is throughout the Conclave!

One of the things we've endeavored to do is involve the Brothers of Iota here in Chicago who are in a position to add value to our event. For Example, our Founders' Reception on Tuesday, July 29 will be held at the Museum of Contemporary Art, where Bro. Derek Moore is Coordinator of Outreach Programs.

We are also being heavily assisted by Brothers such as David Leitao (Head Basketball Coach for the DePaul Blue Demons), Zemira Jones (President & General Manager of ABC/Disney Radio Chicago), and Earl King, (Vice-President, Schwab Investments). Iota is pleased to have this caliber of of Brothers here in Chicago and we are blessed and proud to have their involvement.

Beta Omicron (Chicago State University)

The Brothers from these chapters under the leadership of the Conclave committee, have been working non-stop to create an event that be both enjoyable and productive!

Please take some time on our website to learn about the Conclave and familiarize yourself with the itinerary. More importantly, please register as soon as possible! (A look at the fee schedule will show the tremendous bargain of early registration.)
